Résumé: This study investigates the inadequacy of socio-professional insertion among young graduates and their training formation. Despite the dedicated efforts of guidance specialists in supporting individuals as they navigate their career paths, many young graduates continue to face challenges in achieving successful socio-professional Insertion. This study has general and specific objectives. Generally, to understand the mechanism of socio professional insertion of young graduates in Yaoundé V1 municipality. Specifically, - To analyzed the difficulties faced by the young graduates during the socio professional insertion. – To assess the various means taken by young graduates to insert themselves socio professionally. –To know if young graduates are satisfy with their jobs. Three theories were used in this study John Holland’s theory of career choice 1950, also known as the RIASEC Model. Plays a significant role in the work of guidance counselors. This theory helps counselors assist individuals in understanding their career decisions. Social Capital theory lin, (1999). This theory suggests that individuals with strong social networks and connections are more likely to access jobs opportunities received support during their jobs search. Structural Functional Mac parsons (1951). This theory provides valuable insight on how social structure and functions impact the assimilation of individual into the work force and society with the context of socio professional integration. In order to obtain data for this study a qualitative method was used, with purposeful sampling techniques. Instrument used for data collection was the questionnaires. Data collect, was through primary and secondary source of data were explore. Data collection analysis, data was analyzed using the statistical package science SPSS. Data is obtained from a sample of 200 young graduates and analyzed by use of simple descriptive statistics (Method quantitative). Presentation of findings it show that pertaining to role of guidance counselors in supporting young graduates in the transition from education to Work force, guidance counselors are available in school, most of the graduates did not have the opportunity of meeting them. This is the case in most institutions of today especially in higher institutions of learning where it difficult to even have knowledge of how to get in contact with the guidance counselors. It is recommended that guidance counselors in these institutions should improve on their follow-up of these students so as to identify their difficulties through feedback information from these students
