Horizontal flat plate with suction through the wall. To do this, we used the simplified Navier-Stokes equations to obtain the boundary layer equation or Prandtl equation. To solve this equation, we used two methods, the first is similar solutions method which consists of transforming the boundary layer equation to an ordinary differential equation of order three or Blasius equation while knowing that there is a suction velocity , at the wall, and the second method is an integral method called Bianchini which is an approximate analytical method involving the Lambert and Error functions to characterize the boundary layer profiles with suction and even in the case without suction. The numerical resolution method used is the shooting method based on the numerical schemes of Runge Kutta and Newton-Raphson. The analysis shows that the boundary layer thickness, the velocity profile, the stream function as well as the wall shear stress are affected by suction. The results obtained show that suction has an effect similar to that of a favorable pressure gradient ; they also show that the approximate Bianchini method has the advantage of a good approximation of the numerical profiles compared to the Blasius method.fr_FR
