Abstract

In the pre-colonial period, myth was the Mirror of society, It was the guarantor of ideologies, guarantor of education and valued and ensured the good transmission of culture. So it had a sociological and cultural function. This during the brutal eruption of the West in Africa was the cause of the disappearance of the myth. From now on, myths are no longer used as guarantors and transmitters of culture. In homes with globalization, televisions, radios, social networks advocate foreign culture and this greatly affects African societies in general and those of Cameroon in particular.
