Résumé: Our work focuses on Famer-Herder conflicts in the Tandjile Region (Chad) 1990-2021. This work aims to raise awareness among young people and the public in this province in particular and then the Chadian government in general in order to address this phenomenon. This research aims to raise further awareness among the Tandjilean population and the Chadian authorities for the efficient resolution of intercommunity conflicts in order to predict real development. This work is not without research questions. We have the farmers and herders in Tandjile? Then secondary question such as what are the different causes of this conflict? How does this conflict manifest itself? What are the consequences between breeders and farmers in this province? And finally, what are the different voices or means to resolve this conflict? This research is conducted through primary sources (questionnaire, interviews, and surveys), secondary sources, and digital sources. Our field trip allowed us to opt for a qualitative and quantitative approach. This work resulted in several strategies for managing this conflict. These include the action of peace associations, respect for the transhumance calendar, awareness raising, and the implementation of the ranch project for the province. Finally, this research offered perspectives on several levels (social, economic, and political).
