Abstract

This study entitled: Reorganisation of the psychic envelopes and affective tuning: a study of the structuration of the maternal bonding in adolescent mothers is based on the observation that in the mother, the structuring of the maternal bond is only effective following the reorganisation of the psychic envelopes sometime after childbirth. For the theory of the maternal bonding at construction of the maternal bonding begun during pregnancy is concretised by a particular concretised by a particular pattern of maternal behavior which appears immediately after birth. This structuring takes shape following the first contact between the mother and her child. From the research problem thus posed, we set out the following question the following question: how does the psychological envelopes contribute to the structuring of the maternal bond in the maternal bond in the adolescent mother? To answer this question, we question, we formulated the following hypothesis: in the adolescent mother, the reorganisation of psychic envelopes contributes to the structuring of the maternal bond through affective attunement. To achieve the research objective, we used the clinical method. Clinical method. Participants were selected according to the following criteria inclusion and non-inclusion criteria. We selected two participants, all teenage mothers at the “Centre Medical d’Arrondissement de Mvog-Betsi”. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews. Once the data had been transcribed were analysed thematically. The analysis revealed that teenage mothers' experiences of pregnancy for teenage mothers is marked by numerous negative emotions that which weaken their psychic envelopes. As a result fragility, the structuring of the mother-child bond is affected. It is only when these mothers manage to overcome this fragility through the reorganisation of their psychic envelopes that the mother-child bond is structured. Child bond. In fact, with the reorganisation of the psychic envelopes, the risk of psychological collapse is averted, and mothers redirect the psychological resources mobilised in the fight against this collapse into the construction of the mother-child bond.
