Armed conflicts, political abuses, community disagreements, natural unrest and climate change are the cause, for the most part, of the incessant influx of refugees in the world. This is particularly the case for those from the Central African Republic who, since the beginning of the 2000s, have been present in Chad in general and more particularly in the sub-prefecture of Goré, hence the presence of various key players such as United Nations institutions, international and/or national organizations, and non-governmental organizations that continue to work to assist refugees. The objective of the research on this theme is first to discuss the various problems that make the socio-economic integration of Central African refugees more complex in Chad and especially in the said region, without forgetting the various suggestions needed to be undertaken for better integration of refugees. Considered from the beginning of the crisis by Central African refugees as a land of refuge, Chad is not only obliged to welcome them given its national and international commitments in favor of refugees but also by the desire to maintain its image of solidarity on the international scene. With regard to the methodological aspect, in order to better identify, understand and elucidate the question relating to the socio-economic integration of Central African refugees in the sub-prefecture of Goré in particular and in Chad, the use of documentation from other sciences such as law, sociology, anthropology, geography is important. History as a science requires various sources for its development. However, despite the multifaceted assistance that Central African refugees in the said region benefit from, they are unfortunately slow to integrate into the socio-economic fabric due to problems such as lack of access to basic services, lack of activities and/or jobs, lack of professional training, farmer-herder conflicts, discrimination and even disagreements with the local community, lack of funding, institutional and legal weaknesses, etc. To this extent, it is important to work to promote and facilitate the socio-economic integration of the latter by providing them with the necessary means such as access to basic services, training them and making them aware of living together with the local population, access to jobs and the establishment of income-generating activities and many others.fr_FR
