Njoh-Mouelle, in his book entitled Transhumanism, Science Merchants and the Future of Man, questions the philosophical groundings of Transhumanism and examines the threats that this movement brings along over the future of humanity. In his second book entitled4 he pursues this reflection while giving an important place to Africa facing the challenge of biotechnologies. What makes such a reflection so relevant is that is constitutes a critical work since it consists in discerning the advantage and the disadvantage from transhumanism. Passer- by a descriptive to a normative, the aim of Njoh-Mouelle’s work we invite to entertain a conscious and lucid relationship with the unavoidable development of biotechnologies, thanks to the convergence of the Nanotechnology, Biotechnology, technology of Information and Cognitive science applied to man and not really to fear them. Our aim, through this work, is to go back to Ebénézer Njoh-Mouelle’s texts in order to analyze the advantage and the disadvantage from transhumanism.fr_FR
