The present work titled "NGOs and the Management of humanitarian Crises in Cameroon: 1963-2023 falls within the scope of international relations history. Its focus is on highlighting the humanitarian intervention of the Norwegian Refugee Council in Cameroon. The objective of this study is to underscore the factors influencing humanitarian interventions in Cameroon, analyze the legal framework of these NGO’s intervention in Cameroon, explore their various actions, and conduct an evaluative study of the real impact of the Norwegian Refugee Council humanitarian aid since arrival. Based on well-elaborated documentation comprising various primary sources (oral accounts, reports, decrees) and secondary sources (books, theses, dissertations, articles, scientific journals), the processing of collected information relies on both diachronic and synchronic approaches. In evaluating the Norwegian NGO's humanitarian intervention in Cameroon, it is evident that this one involvement in Cameroon, within the context of humanitarian intervention, is significant. In other words, like other NGOs, despite the challenges faced in Cameroon, this organization manages to provide support to populations during crises. Its intervention is substantial as it brings considerable support to the affected populations by implementing strategies/mechanisms necessary to restore their human integrity.fr_FR
