The present reflection is interested on the input of SYNES in Cameroonian higher public education. The main objective of this study is to analyze and evaluate the activities of this corporation and to assess its contribution to the development of higher education in Cameroon. Its question the position and involvement of this syndicate in the development of higher education policy. In order to solve this problem, several sources were consulted during the collection of data. Based on written and oral source, without forgetting archive documents, the analysis of the data was based on the descriptive, analytical and thematic methods, supported by the qualitative and quantitative approach. This work was structured in four chapters with a general introduction and a general conclusion. The analysis of facts begins with the presentation of the foundations of the birth of Synes and its representation in higher education. Subsequently, its activities and achievements were exposed evolving. Finally, obstacles encountered by the trade union in the deployment of its actions were presented, as well as the capital gain of its actions within universities. This approach made it possible to come to the conclusion that the creation of the SYNES results from the state of disrepair of Cameroonian University in ethical, moral and academic aspects at the beginning of the 1990s. The loss, thus the annihilation of all the fundamental rights of the main university actors in general and teachers in particular, has led to the radicalism of this movement. Despite the difficulties faced, SYNES was able to establish itself as a free syndicat and has carryout actions for the well-being of syndicate and non-syndicate members. Unfortunately, this corporation faces several obstacles that compromise and distance it from its objectives and missions.fr_FR
