Résumé: This study highlights the dynamic practice of camfranglais in the social networks by Francophone and Anglophones students of the department of bilingual studies of the University of Yaoundé 1 from level 1 to 5 to better understand the place that the camfranglais language occupied in their daily lives. In fact, our study is part of the technology and the sociolinguistic field while showing the dynamism that the camfranglais language can have through his speakers. It is important to note that, our study involves four chapters subdivided into two large parts: the first part comprises the overview of the languages and the practice of camfranglais in social network then, the theoretical frame work and the review of literature on the several mechanisms of languages in general and that of camfranglais in particular; the second part focuses on the methodological and analytical aspect of the data collected during the investigations. Moreover, in other to better guide our study, the main objective of this study has been to seek the different social networks, motivations, pages, and forums in which the students of bilingual studies of the University of Yaoundé 1 use the camfranglais language on the social networks, 117 questionnaires were filled online. After 90 young students indicated that they use camfranglais in various social networks such as: WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram, Twitter (x) with their friends, classmates, neighbors, colleagues, and the members of their families with a percentage of 77%. This shows the proofs that credit the vitality of the camfranglais language in Cameroun.
