Résumé: This work is entitled "Mouvements migratoires camerounais-équato-guinéens et incidence sécuritaire dans la Vallée-du-Ntem:1968-2020". It is a study on the security impact of the presence of national and Equato-Guinean migrants in the Ntem Valley. The main objective of this research is to study the migratory processes in the Ntem Valley and evaluate their socio- political and economic repercussions, both on local populations and the State of Cameroon. Thus, this study raises the problem of the involvement of migrant populations in the development of insecurity in the Ntem Valley. To better analyze this problem, the theories of transnationalism and integration were convened. Multiple sources were consulted for data collection. Oral sources were the primary means of data collection, given the specificity of the subject. Data analysis was based on an empirical-deductive and thematic approach. This methodology allowed the work to be organized into four chapters that consecutively address migratory movements in the geographical area studied, the relationship between the presence of migrants and forms of insecurity observed in the Ntem Valley, and the impact of these insecurities on the socio-political and economic activities of these populations, and finally, strategies to fight against insecurity in the Ntem Valley. This approach led to the conclusion that since 1968, the Ntem Valley has been exposed to internal and especially external migrations, characterized by the influx of Equato-Guineans seeking refuge due to the political situation in their country. Even with the calm, these migrations continued for economic, social, and cultural reasons. However, the Equato-Guinean state seems ungrateful towards Cameroon today, given the multiple expulsions and border closures that undermine sub-regional brotherhood.
