| dc.description.abstract | In the world, many countries have decided to make their education system inclusive by adopting laws and policies aimed at integrating students with special educational needs into primary education. However, the system does not allow all students to have a normal school career or schooling. This is why this thesis is intitled strategic orientation and consideration of special education in the education in cameroon. The primary objectif of this work is to encourage education stakeholders in cameroon to find solutions to the insufficient consideration of special education. The guiding questions are as follow: what is the link between strategic orientation and the consideration of special education? What is the link between legislation or legal framework and the consideration of special education? What is the link between education planning and the consideration of special education? What is the link between teacher training and the consideration of special education? The method used is a qualitative study and as a data analysis technique, we used data triangulation. Data triangulation refers to use of several methods or data sources for a comprehensive understanding of phenomena. A careful review of literature, followed by a critical analysis of concepts and theories: incrementalism theory, theory of rationality, imprinting theory and theory of planed behavior framed the theoretical aspect of the study. The results highlight a significant link between strategic orientation and special education. This link is important because it leads to a cause-and-effect situation. In short, the components of the strategic orientation (laws, decrees, regulation) that allow the implementation of special education through the construction of adapted school infrastructures, education planning and adapted pedagogy for students with special educational needs. Although we have laws that govern education in cameroon, education still encounters many obstacles. As a result, many children with disabilities do not have access to education. | fr_FR |
