This study offers an evaluation of the challenges and potential opportunities related to the implementation of e-learning initiatives in selected public secondary schools located in the Mfoundi Division. The purpose of the research was to examine the effects of many elements on the implementation of e-learning initiatives. These factors included technological infrastructure, teacher preparedness, content and curriculum adaption, and administrative and regulatory obstacles. The study used a descriptive survey design and regression prediction approach for data collection. A total of 306 participants, including teachers, public servants, PTA members, and contract workers, were chosen as the sample size. These participants were picked from seven schools, which were representatives of the seven sub-divisions in Mfoundi. The study's results indicate that the presence of technological infrastructure in secondary schools has a statistically significant influence on the execution of e-learning initiatives. The study revealedthat the preparedness of teachers also show a statistically significant influence on the effective execution of e-learning efforts. Furthermore, the key aspects that were found to influence the execution of e-learning initiatives include content and curriculum adaptation, as well as administrative and regulatory issues. Based on the aforementioned results, a number of suggestions are proposed. It is recommended that educational institutions engage in thorough needs assessments that span technical, pedagogical, and organisational dimensions in order to enhance their readiness for the implementation of e-learning. It is recommended that educators engage in ongoing professional development to acquire the essential skills required for effective utilisation of technology, instructional design, and online pedagogy. The acceleration of elearning adoption is underscored by the emphasis on collaboration and the exchange of best practises across diverse stakeholders.en_US
