Résumé: | Demonstration by recurrence is a teaching object in Cameroun and allows the construction of a general property from a particular verification on some values of the natural integer n. One of the observations that poses a problem in the use of this principle by learners is that of the lack of mastery of its statement. This is why, in the present research entitled: ‘’demonstration by recurrence in the second cycle of secondary education: difficulties and obstacles’’, a study is conducted among Tle C and P C students of the Nkozoa Modern High School.
