dc.description.abstract | This study entitled "proposition d’un plan d’action pour la promotion des langues nationales en contexte de décentralisation " is in line with the promotion of national languages. Bathed in a highly multilingual ecosystem, the promotion of national languages is a real dilemma in the education system. To this end, the State has transferred powers to the decentralized territorial authorities to promote national languages in education. These decentralized territorial authorities include the Regions and the Municipalities. The objective of this work is to describe the situation regarding the promotion of national languages in the Center Region with a view to developing an action plan to strengthen this promotion by the Center Region Council. Achieving this objective first requires taking stock of the situation regarding the promotion of national languages; then determining the means likely to ensure the visibility of national languages to strengthen this promotion; finally proposing actions aimed at guaranteeing the promotion of national languages. We opted for a qualitative approach with the interview guide and the documentary study as data collection instruments. The qualitative data obtained were analyzed based on content analysis and Microsoft Excel spreadsheet software. The interpretation of the results obtained from the theories called upon showed us that national languages are poorly valued in the Central Region. In addition, the promotion of national languages requires the mobilization of financial resources as a priority. | en_US |
