Résumé: Our research work focuses on “Evaluation of the Project to strengthen Education and literacy for women (PREAT) in the municipality of Koumra in chad”. This study aims to carry out action aimed at improving access to education, the quality of literacy, governance and sectoral management. It is in this perspective that the project to strengthen women’s, Education and literacy (PREAT) was set up to improve indicators such as the impact of learning, access to education, strengthening women’s literacy, educational environment and school organization in Mandoul oriental precisely in the commune of Koumra in chad. It aims to analyze the effects of the PREAT project on the provision of quality of women and non -formal basic education. To carry out this study. We mobilized several theoretical orientations such as the human capital theory of Gary Becker (1964) and the theory of goal setting by Langevin Mendezo (2014). These theoretical orientations reveal and explain the different aspects of the actions carried out by the project linked to the provision of quality literacy for women and non-formal basic education. Therefore, the general research question is formulated as follows: what is the effect of the PREAT project on the supply and quality of literacy and non-formal basic education in the commune of Koumra? Methodologically, we adopted the hypothetical-deductive approach which is qualitative-quantitative (mixte). The qualitative method was conducted using a semi-structured interview with the inspector of the Koumra chad commune of Koumra. In view of this analysis, the results allowed us to conclude that the PREAT project had significant effect on women’s literacy and education in the commune of Koumra chad.
