The use of didactic device as well as the Didactic Approach Based on Scientific In-vestigation Abilities (D.A.S.I.A), which specificity lies in the problem solving situations and the development of abilities for scientific investigation is a set of strategies aiming to mould up students’ scientific spirit. They lead them to engage on the learning process and develop knowledge autonomously through meaningful actions. Therefore, the present study hypothe-sizes that these approaches effectively improve the performance of learners. These strategies were experienced at Frantz-Fanon high school in the class of Première D. Two tests of ability were successively administered to two groups of students; the first test (pre-test or test of homogeneity) before and the second test (post-test or experimental test) at the end. The comparison of the results from the two groups revealed that the D.A.S.I.A used alongside with the educational software positively influences the acquisition of knowledge and improved considerably students’ performancefr_FR
