The research we conducted is entitled: guidance-advisory system and job search capacity of 3rd year students of the faculty of economic sciences and management of the university of N’Djamena-Chad. The problem it aims to solve is the difficult of students of 3rd year of the Faculty of Economics and Management of the University of N’Djamena to research the job here study, due to the absence of a reliable guidance system within this faculty and universities in Chad. The theory of causal attribution was used in the context of this study, in particular the model of Heider (1958). To carry out this study, the central question which guided our reflection is formulated as follows: Does the guidance and advice system determine the job search capacity of 3rd year students of the Faculty of Sciences economics and management of the University of N’Djamena-Chad? The response to this question formulated our general hypothesis (HG) stated as follows: the guidance-counseling system determines the job search capacity of students. The operationalization of this hypothesis made it possible to obtain the following four research hypotheses: HR1: The guidance counselor’s interview with students determines the students’ job search ability. HR2: Students’ information on study courses and their professional prospects determines students’ job search ability. HR3: The skills assessment carried out by a guidance counselor determines the job search capacity of students. HR4: The orientation of students towards promising fields of study determines the job search capacity of students. To test these hypotheses, we administered a questionnaire to a sample of 139 subjects all made up of 3rd year students from the Faculty of Economics at the University of N’Djamena-Chad. The chi-square test was used to test these hypotheses. The results obtained validate all four HRs at the significance threshold a = 0.05 with high contingency coefficients, respectively: C = 0.39 for HR1; C= 0.26 for HR2 C= 0.18 for HR3; C= 0.16 for HR4. Ultimately, the general hypothesis of this research was validated. We can therefore conclude that the guidance-counseling system determines the job search capacity of 3rd year students of the Faculty of Economics and Management at the University of N’Djamena-Chad.fr_FR
