dc.description.abstractThe present study aimes to analyse the main role of the administrative authorities in the management of road network for socio-economique development of Nyong and Mfoumou. To carry out the work properly, recourse were made to instruments and specific methods to historical discipline namely: the collection and comparison of the data collected. So various sources were consulted such as oral source, written source, private and public archives, as well as iconographic documents. The Nyong and Mfoumou road network is crossed by the national road n°10 (example we have Yaoundé-Ayos-Bonis). It is also composed composed of regional and municipal roads and the first road of which was built in 1926 (example Yaoundé road linking to Akonolinga). The establishment of these roads infrastructures has enable rural and urban population to develop their socio-economic activities, the changes observed during the establishment of the road network in this division were oriented towards improving living conditions. However, it should be mentioned that Nyong and Mfoumou road network has been experiencing problems for several years. This is materialized by the fact that the administrative authorities are making efforts to remeding this and satisfy the demand for road infrastructure, but the situation does not improve. The road of Nyong and Mfoumou are bad and this influence or affect the socio-economic development of the locality. The road network management of Nyong and Mfoumou division faces a lot of difficulties leading to its inefficiency. For better management of road network to be solved, the administrative authorities should put in place three principles authorties that is collaboration, authority and participation in the accomplishment of their mission. This would make it to have a good and reliable road network. Subdivided into four chapters, the first chapter focuses on the History of the road Nyong and Mfoumou division, the second chapter present the administrative authorities involved in the management of the road network, the third deals with the socio-économic changes of Nyong and Mfoumou linked to the development of its road network. Finally, chapter four talks of the problem linked to the management of the road network in Nyong and Mfoumou and outline solutions.fr_FR
