Our work entitled « paremias and artistic performances in blessing rituals in western Cameroon: case of the Nda'a », poses the problem of abandonment or loss of the artistic, performance and ritual values of blessing. It aims to show how, far from being a tradition accompanying the events that Man goes through, blessing rituals during its existence, plays in its socio-cultural space and well beyond several other functions. The main hypothesis which therefore leads to this reflection is that paremias and artistic performances impact blessing rituals and convey its existential ideology built around its belief systems and its socio-culture. The study is based on two theories. Ethnostylistic theory, which is based, as presented by Gervais MENDO ZE, on the postulate according to which a speech only makes sense if it is understood in its context of emission and Ethnolinguistic which, according to Geneviève CALAME-GRIAULE, is based on the postulate in wich, to achieve the most complete and fairest possible understanding of the cultural realities of a community, it is important to understand the language by adapting it to all the tools analysis due to culture. Ethnolinguistics and Ethnostylistics establish consequently the relationships between language and the worldview of a people. The study leads to the results according to which through blessing or even blessing rituals, the Nda'a expresses its moods, reveals its belief systems and socializes Man while maintaining him in a state of confidence and absolute serenity. The blessing is therefore a place where the Nda'a worldview is read, built around the values and interests that are transmitted from generation to generation through speech. It is necessary for a Man to be anchored in his culture, before opening to the rest of the world in an increasingly globalized universe.fr_FR
