This dissertation is entitled: “Marginalization of people living with motor disabilities in Yaoundé I and participation in community development”. People with disabilities sometimes face stigma and face obstacles such as limited access to transport infrastructure, public buildings and jobs. Obviously they are marginalized from participation in community development due to physical and social barriers. However, numerous texts of Cameroonian law, human rights and sustainable development emphasize the need to guarantee their inclusion in the context of community development. However, the observation that arises from the above-mentioned observations reveals a lack of congruence. The objective of this work is to study the impact of the marginalization of people living with motor disabilities in Yaoundé I on participation in community development. Hence the following main question: “Does the marginalization of people living with motor disabilities in Yaoundé I limit their participation in community development?” To answer this, the following general hypothesis was formulated: “The marginalization of people living with motor disabilities in Yaoundé I limits their participation in community development.” To verify these hypotheses, a questionnaire was administered to a sample of 150 participants selected using the method of accidental choice or by convenience. The processing of the questionnaires and the statistical processing were analyzed using the Brallais-Pearson chi-square test. The conclusions are as follows: For HR1, á= 0.05, ddl= 16, X2cal = 433,416> X2lu = 26, 30 hence HR1 is confirmed. ForHR2, á= 0.05, ddl= 16, X2cal = 360,424> X2lu = 26, 30 hence HR2 is confirmed. For HR3, á= 0.05, ddl= 16, X2cal = 431,739> X2lu = 26, 30 hence HR3 is confirmed. Motor in Yaoundé I limits their participation in community development.en_US
